From Front Porches to Front Pages: Storytelling in the South

Hosted by Georgia Highlands College • February 5–7, 2026 • Cartersville, GA

The Southeast Journalism Conference (SEJC) brings together college media students, advisers, and professionals from across the region to celebrate excellence in student media, sharpen skills, and explore the evolving role of journalism in our communities.

At SEJC 2026, you’ll:

  • Compete in on-site contests and celebrate your work in the Best of the South awards.
  • Gain insights from keynote speakers, panels, and workshops led by working journalists and educators.
  • Connect with peers and professionals during networking events and social gatherings.
