ACCUPLACER (Online)

If you have been placed in Learning Support courses for English and/or Math, you are eligible to take an Accuplacer test to exempt the Learning Support requirement. Note: trying to exempt is not required.

The test is $40 and must be paid in advance. Refunds will not be given.

This test session is conducted online. To test, you will need a computer (desktop or laptop) with a webcam and audio capabilities. Unfortunately, other devices such as cell phones, iPads, Surface, and other tablets, will not work.

You will receive an email regarding scheduling your exam with Proctor U.

Please note: If an exam is scheduled within 72 hours, there will be an additional fee for on demand exams. Exams should be scheduled outside of the 72 hour window to avoid fees.

Online Exam Proctoring with ProctorU

For your convenience, this course will utilize the ProctorU platform to proctor your online exams.

What is ProctorU?

ProctorU is a platform that is partnered with your institution to help you take an exam online while ensuring academic integrity is upheld. Using this platform allows you the convenience of testing from home 24/7, 365 days a year.

Download the Guardian Secure Proctoring Browser.

Note: Please test your equipment before exam day in an environment that is identical to or close to your actual testing location.

Prepare for exam day by reading this article.

Note: You will be required to use the Guardian Browser on exam day. When you are ready to take your exam, open the Guardian Browser and navigate to your LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, or Moodle) to get started.
